Steve Canerossi is a retired US Army officer and former IBM employee with more than 39 years of military and commercial experience. Steve has been extremely successful in providing purpose, motivation, and direction to functional and cross functional teams, leading them to achieve and exceed goals and objectives.
Steve was a Senior Project Manager and Executive Project Manager for ten years in IBM's Global Business Services Supply Chain practice and Army Account Team. He was responsible for the full business life cycle of his portfolio from opportunity identification through project closing, taking several projects from bid to completion. He is certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) by APICS, is a Project Management Institute certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and is a member of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals.
Steve retired from the US Army as a Lieutenant Colonel with 20 years of active service with experience in Infantry, Quartermaster, and Multi-Function Logistics. A recognized innovator and problem solver, he helped to create the Army's Force XXI, Stryker Brigade, and Objective Force logistics structure and doctrine. He also led the team which developed the Army's doctrine for employing contractors on the battlefield, doctrine which was later adopted as Joint Forces doctrine.
